I tend to be a little uncomfortable playing against the Pirc, but last night it worked out very well.

I had a tough matchup for the first round of the new tournament again strong class A player, Joel Batchelor. I felt really good coming out of the opening, but couldn't hold on. Just looked through it with the engine, and found out I missed a queen trap on 29! And I even considered the move and discarded it, because I didn't see it really was a full trap, and was worried about defending my king. Whenever I get on the defense I end up in trouble. Just have to remember to attack, attack, attack.

I'm letting my domain eggie.net expire in April, because I have too many random domains that I am no longer using and should stop paying for. I plan on keeping my Chess in San Diego site going, so my new blog url is a subdomain of that one.
